    Whole break down!!

So I wanted to make my first big thread on here so far I tore it all down and dyed my chassis black and going for black and orange theme as orange is my favorite color.
    Clean and dyed my chassis

Then I removed the blue from traxxas aluminum motor mount

Here what she looks like so far

I'm getting the castle mamba max pro 2400kv motor, orange Rpm a arms and knuckles coming soon and new 17 mm wheel hex adaptors and new proline wheels and tires more pics to come as work comes along

As always suggestions, tips, or comments are welcomed.

Great colour combination, I have always liked the contrast of a bright vibrant colour with blue.
By the way do you have a pic of your bell crank set up, I cannot seem to get a small turn radius when running the truck, using Mashers (no binding on the turn buckles and camber, set on the last hole of the carrier)

I did have the strc bellcrank but kept stripping servo gear and after 5 yes 5 rebuild kits I went back to stock traxxas plastic and haven't had a issue,

Here you go hope this helps

Got little more done today after work

I decided to remove the blue off the motor plate and those metal bars hold a arms pins

I couldn't stop myself had to see what it's gonna look like all back together when I'm finish

Let me know what you all think so far or what else I should do still waiting for the mamba max pro esc and 2400kv motor

Ah snap look what came today in mail

Got motor installed and took for mini test run just on 2s plan on running 3s and sometimes 4s

Here esc mount I got but doesn't fit so idk if I'm have to get new receiver box and move it or what or just maybe velcro the esc where it is

So finally got everything put together and programed

Well with stock drive shaft knew this would happenl

I got new mip drive shafts ordered waiting on them and new 17 mm hub connector one flew off dumb move forgot the lock tight

Now I'm working on a new body progress so far

I know so far just ran on 3s but this is a beast now

Thanks, and with your steering set up the truck runs properly??, mine takes a huge space beafore I get to turn even after shortening the link arm.

MMm going to open it up and re-set it...I think I am just going to transfer a 2600kv motor from my 2wd pede to see what it is like on a slash even though it is 2 pole.

Like the tires you got on, just awesome. Yeah had the same problem on my drive shaft but on the telescope, I am using the traxxas steel yokes.

Yeah after going back to stock plastic steering and few adjustment and re-centering the servo it steers good I think better the strc one but probably cause I couldn't get the spring right kept striping servo gears

Great paint job and proper care with dry wall tape, I should have done the same with mine instead of procrastinating, now I got some cracks already on the new body.

I just realised that my link arm on the servo is not similar to your son the picture above, the last rod end is angled and curved, must be for the lcg, as I got my whole bulkhead and steering for the lcg and purchased the hcg bulkhead separately.

Very nice paint job. It looks awesome.

Are you going to bash with the MIP Race duty on 3s (I assumed you will bash because of the tires)? Are they the aluminum ones? If so, I heard they were only rated for 2s racing and will bend pretty easily.

I found a set of all 4 on sale for a nice price the other day and almost bought them but passed after reading This thread. The guy ended up bending 3 out of 4 steel shafts on 2s. I will have to research more because maybe it was a isolated incident.

    Here is the link...

http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread...-a-mini-review. I linked it in the reply above but it may not be working.

You've seen them running in a basher so they must be pretty sturdy. You should have no issues.

Look at Sweep wheels & tires. I run them on my street build. I have the 55 shore & once they get heat in them they chirp when breaking traction.
