    NIMH charing at 2C?

Has anyone here tried to charge a 3000mah at 6 amps? Will I blow up the battery? Reduce it's usable life? Please advise. Thanks!

Charging at anything higher than 1C will reduce the battery life span, increase the risk of popping a cell, and a few other things that encourage me to recommend against it.

If you want to charge packs fast, LiPo is the way to go... even the cheapest quality packs are being rated for a 2C charge rate, with some even being rated for a 10C charge rate.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

I'm going to get a Lipo in the next few weeks. Looking forward to it.

My Radiant Ascend charger just has me put in the mah and then it does 1c automatically. I guess I'll stick to that. Thanks!

I have been charging my Traxxas NiMH's at 4.5 amps since I got them with my Summit and they are still going strong.
