    Why so hot?

Got a new Traxxas EZ Peak plus 6 amp charger and a couple of 5000 NiMh batteries. I set the charge mode to 5 amps and put it in Auto mode and hit start. Took about 50 mins to finish and the battery seems pretty warm. Almost HOT. Is this normal? Should I try going to 2.5 next time? Maybe the Auto mode isn't the way to go?

Yea all nimhs no matter the amperage will get warm toward their full charge. Keep the nimh's off things that are flameable while charging them so you don't have grumpy parents/spouse when half the house is gone when you come home from your quick trip...

It's all good. Just making sure something wasn't going wrong.
