    My new Traxxas funny car

What a surprise .... For my birthday I received a Courtney Force funny car.

I didn't know it but my son-in-law had bought one also for himself. The kids bought them at the drag race in Las Vegas last month, and he has the Mike Neff edition.

Last Sunday we took them to the middle school just down the road and drove them in the parking lot.

What a blast.... The surface was a little bit dusty so traction was a bit of an issue to begin with.

We haven't taken any videos yet but will do so soon.

I have only run 2s on mine and was a handful at first, but after getting most of the dust removed for the first 20 feet and making sure the tires got nice and warm, (long burn outs) starts were a lot more controllable.

We had a real fun afternoon and the old man (me) won the most races.

The timing system and docking stations are on order and should be here by Friday...

So far no broken parts (lots of scratch's thou) and way more fun than should be allowed.

I'll try 3s next time out.....

Glad your having fun with it Dennis

If you ever want to try racing your cars, there is a club that races once a month in Rancho Cucamonga and is starting to get a great turn out of Traxxas Funny Car

Next Race will be at RCX May 17-18
