Proline Big Joe II compared to the Trenchers.

    Wow! These tires are fantastic!

Yes there def is a big size difference, what surprised me was that they do not feel like there's a real weight difference. These tires were definitely designed around the summit and that gearing set up, so I would recommend lowering your gearing if you are going to run these on the mini e-revo but the improved off road capabilities should be immense, and with a 1" increase in width of the vehicle it should become much more stable. I've attached a couple more pics to show the size difference between the stock merv tire, trenchers, and the Big Joe II's.

Do you have any pics of the tires mounted on the 1/16 summit?

No, I don't own a summit. I got them for the mini Maxx I'm building.

The size isn't a lot different from the Canyons.

Sold my Trenchers and ordered a set of these. Should arrive soon.
What broke, uh, needs upgrading now?

Lol. I was thinking about the exact same plan. Trenchers look kinda silly on a Summit, certainly compared to the Big Joes.

Proline Big Joe II compared to the Trenchers.

Tires came in today but didn't get a chance to glue them up. Hopefully I get a chance tomorrow!

Bought some screws for my big Summit to replace the rusted ones... Some doofus (me) drove it in water and didn't dry it off after and let it sit for ages...

Will the stock diffs and CVDs hold up with the big joe 2 wheels on the MERV, or would i need to upgrade them first? I really like the wheels!

If you gear it the same as the Summit, there should be no problem. The diffs in the Merv are the same as the Summit.

Proline Big Joe II compared to the Trenchers.

Just got the Big Joe II out if the bag... Whew! They sure do reek!!!

Did anyone trim the foam or tape the tires first? Of course, maybe I don't need to tape since it's mostly run on 2S and I've done the transmission flip...

Well, the tires will have to wait... Discovered the front center driveshaft was trashed from when the kids fought over the truck last time out...

New one on the way + 380 motor heatsink...

Eventually those new tires'll get driven!!

The trenchers and big joe II's are two of my favorite tires. Really cool tires.
