Boss 302 Cant link car to remote

Hello guys just had a quick question hope someone can help me,

I have the 1/16 Boss Mustang Model 7303 everything is stock I have not changed anything, I put my car up last year and it worked fine but now when I got it out to play with I cant seem to link the XL 2.5 to my remote, when I turn it on the light just goes to green then red, I tried doing the programing thing,

Turn on transmitter with throttle at neutral

    connect battery

press and hold ez set button, the led turn green then red, release the ez button

when the led blinks once pull the trigger to full throttle and hold it,

( The led don't blink ) so I am not sure whats wrong, could some one please help me, I would really like to start playing with my car again thanks so much...

This may sound silly, but are the AA batteries in the transmitter fresh?

Disconnect the servo from the receiver and see what happens. It might be that your servo died and is causing this trouble.

I tried to disconnect the server and only left the esc plug in and still have the problem, I am thinking maybe something is wrong with the remote control its self

I'd give Traxxas a call and have them walk you through the troubleshooting steps for this sort of issue; that should help narrow the problem down for you.
