    Newbie question about shocks

I was wondering about how do you know when you have to refill your shock oil? I have the stock shocks. Are we supposed to refill them?

Big pile of silicone crud on the chassis is usually a sure sign.

Or if your ride feels less plush, less damped then before. Ultimately you have to open them an check the oil level, they should be full.

Shocks leak a little over time. Specially the stockers, so yeah some refill from time to time is needed.

The stock shocks leak badly. The hr shock bodies fix the problem. You can hear air in the shocks if they need refilled.

I just ran them empty. They were always empty by the end of the second run.
