    lipo battery

Hi im looking at getting this lipo from SPC Racing SPC LiPo Power, Lithium Polymer (LiPo) Battery Pack; 2500mAh, 50C, 2S, 7.4V Soft-Case its a good price, I have a E-Revo 1/16 with the Velineon VXL3M brushless engine in it, just wondering if this is a good battery pack for it?

In my opinion, that is the best pack for a 16th.

    Great capacity
    Great C rating (honest too)
    Great price
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Yep, those come very highly recommended, I haven't had one personally but it seems spc is considered one of the best brands for the price around here.

For many parts you see different opinions and different choices that people make, but when it comes to Lipos for the Traxxas 1/16 platform, the choice is easy.

I'm looking at these same batteries for our 2 e-revo vxls and 1 summit, all 1/16 scale cars. I'm also planning on getting parallel and series connectors. What can I expect with 2 of these in parallel and what happens in series? I'm hoping for some 45min+ run times in parallel and I might hold onto the series connectors so my boys don't burn up their e-revos and definitely until my younger son stops crashing into things.

2 in parallel will give you 1 hour + run times.
2 in series will give you a very hot motor and a fried ESC.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
