    EZ-start / engine problem

    Hi guys,

i need some help from the experts here please.

My Revo 3.3 has been running very well but now i have problems getting it started.
When i plug in the EZ-start it makes like a 1 second turn and then stops.
When that happens i can't do anything with it, it looks dead.
Then i have to wait a few minutes before it does the same.

I put in new spark plug, cleaned everything out as usuall.
So basicly i am out of ideas on what it could be.

    Any suggestions???

I also wonder if itis possible totake the EZ out and replace it with a pull-start?

Already many thanks for those who want to help !!!

Make sure the battery in the starter wand is fully charged. Sounds like it is not as the compression and pinch in the engine are enough to stop the starter from turning it over.

Are you talking the ez start doesn't turn over like a dead battery? If so chech your ez start motor terminals.

The battery is fully charged, so that is not it.
It's not the engine stopping at dead point either.
I will take the EZ of today and open it up to see if all is still ok inside and come back if that doesn't help either.

    Thanks already

If the starter motor keeps spinning but the engine doesn't crank then its your one way bearing.

If the battery is full and the engine rotates fine but the starter still stalls then the starter motor may be bad. Mine threw a brush soon after and I installed a pull start.

The way it looks now is that the electric motor to the EZ is malfunctioning, i will try to change that and then we will see again.
But need some money first to make changes

Call Traxxas. Their warranty is awesome. Even when you are past the warranty period, they have sent me free parts (usually RX's). Worth a shot?

I will try to do that, i know they have great service, but....i live in Sweden so i don't know if that counts here to.
Sellers here only give limited waranty on everything instead of the Traxxas lifetime
