    TQi confused...

Ok, got a new ERBE, and it has all the telemetry stuff on it, but, I am debating whether or not to buy an iPad Touch for this...is it worth the extra $200 bucks?

What does it do for me as a basher?

    Thanks!

I honestly recommend it to anyone. Basher racer doesn't matter you should be able to find some use out of it. You can do a lot of setting adjustment. Adjust training mode if you have kids or someone inexperienced. Also you could set how much break is applied. How much throttle. Reverse the servos. Honestly. There's a lot. Also I would look for a used ipod touch on Craigslist or somewhere because I use mine strictly for this so I bought a great shape one for 100$

I can tell you this i bought a touch Gen 2 had to update the operating system but after using it on my slash its awesome. There is so much you can do tuning wise. Now as for watching the speed and rpms while driving almost impossible to watch the car and that. But i Suggest ebay get a used Touch Gen 2 works but try to get a Gen 3 atleast. I spent $57 on a used gen 2

Yes, it's worth it. It's awesome being able to see temperature and battery voltage on the fly. IMO, The newer the Ipod the better off you are. Good luck.

EDIT: Whoops, Welcome to the forums!

Just don't go 5th gen as they use the new lightning connector and Traxxas hasn't released a docking bass to accommodate as yet.

I have read that too but make sure you get the original apple connection adapter. Many people tried the knock offs with no luck.

Ok got a good question. If you have the esc set to 50% and the Traxxas link set to 100% is it giving you 100% of that 50% or over riding the esc and giving you true 100% I hope what I'm asking is as clear as I think it is. lol
