I've got the 3pl and for a second wanted a better tx even though the 3pl is new...then I saw the price on the 4pls and realized that the 3pl is such an upgrade from stock anyway that I would just spend the extra on other upgrades. being able to customize how the p4de drives is a huge plus.

Cart wheeled at the local track and sheered off my RPM Slash 4x4 front bumper.

Learned that a nice pearl white paint job is bad for a monster truck. lol

What did you do with your pede today?

Did my first test run with my fully build and painted truggy. Running castles 3800 combo on 3s it is a little beast! Pulls wheelies out of every turn and is a blast to jump. Traxxas should produce one of these because this is an absolute blast to drive.

Nice looking truggy!!! and digging the paint scheme and job. With those badlands and split six's beadlocks, it really sets off that buggy look. That looks fast just sitting there...

Yeah Racing Motor Mount installed today.

Size comparison stock bearing vs. yeah racing - it is even bigger than the king headz bearing:

Here I used a washer and a longer screw because the stock screw is pretty short:

    This is the Stock one:

Also all the screws were secured with blue loctite.

And this is the final result:

    @affinityofmist: You got PN.

@spennie: Yes this part is of pretty good quality - also got some good review in my german forum. Last upgrade for now and maybe for some time now.

Yeah Racing don't make many parts for traxxas unfortunalely

All in all they only have 25 parts for traxxas but 743 for tamiya

shoeglued the body as the damage it sustained over the weekend didnt allow the body to stay on correctly. I tried jumping it over the ditch in front of friends place only to come up short. it was fine that time. the second time it came down on its back. I cracked the wheelie bar. whoops. bashed around and flipped it some. was awesome
    still no back flip though

Today I ordered the HPI 86094 Pins to replace the Grub screws at the Diff Outs for my MIP Shafts.

Although I secured the grub scews with blue loctite they come loose every couple of runs.

I hope this fixes that issue.

I only use red on the grub screws because that's what mip said to use and just use a soldering iron to help them out sorted.......peace

I will try red loctite on the grub screws for the MIP 17mm Axle Adapter the next time.

But I am a little concerned not to being able to open them again without melting the plastic axle carriers.

Let's see.. Swapped out the mashers with talons and installed the bearings on the wheelie bar wheels. Forgot how fun the talon tires were. Drifting at full throttle on loose fine gravel Lol

I hate the "waiting game" and down time. Also have to wait for the MIP 17mm Adapter - so no P4de bashing this weekend

Luckily I have a few other cars and also a few birds to fool around with. The chance of full R/C downtime is about zero here.
But since the P4de is my fav car, I will be glad when everything arrives.

Installed the HPI Pins instead of the grub screws to secure the MIP shafts to the diff outs.

Much better solution than the grub screws. No more issues at this spot anymore

    Parts Number: HPI 86094
