No hands on action but did order few things

    -STRC finned motor plate
    -STRC aluminum trans mount
    -Traxxas Clear gear cover
-MIP pins (lost 1 the other day, stock shafts broke off)
-10 fin space saver style motor heatsink along with gold thermal paste

Hope couple of the listed help with heat, its not overheating but rather be safe than sorry.

    I believe you bro!

Noticed my rpm arms had an "arc" or "curve" to them.. All 4 of them. Tore it apart, threw them in boiling water for 30 mins. While still "soft" and holding there shape by hand, ran them thru cold water for few seconds until they hold there shape on their own. Threw them in the freezer for 10 minutes. Done. Good as new if not stronger due to the boiling process.

The after pics is the one arm that had the worse degree to it, you can see it's straight again.

I envy you guys - a SPC 6500 2s will set me back around $110 when shipping and import taxes are paid.

Those aluminum parts got me droolin too 1slowtrx. Just priced it and not bad for what looks to be bulletproof on that. Puttin those parts on my birthday wish list for the wife, aluminum motor mount was already on there. Hoping for the best. I figure upgrade those parts now and run the vxl til she gives it up, then im ahead of the game for big power.

Dyed my new chassis, royal blue. Turned out nice. Then moved everything over from old chassis to New one. Mad a new esc holder for the sc8 and mounted the switch in the chassis side. Made a new custom battery case hold down from metal strapping and Velcro.

I was wondering what that would do to the moving parts. Never done that to mine. Now i know. I heard boca is the way to go as far as bearings.

Yeah I don't think I'm going to do it again anytime soon haha, but it was so much fun! I did get boca bearings, I cleaned them, put some grease and they work as good as new, I only have 2 rear ones on at the moment, I'll replace the other ones as they fail
