    Lipo storage

When I run my lipos to, when my summit goes half speed I always charges them to storage voltage when I come home. But if I set the charger at lipo storage it takes for ever the get the right voltage. Can't I just ballange charge them and stop the charger, when the voltage is where I want it to be?

    Yes you can.
Most likely your charger is quite limited in the storage charge setting.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

That's what I do, mine only has a 1A storage charge, where as I charge it at 5A every other time, the 1A takes too long

    Thanks

    If I'm not in a hurry I ballance charge at 2,5A at a 2s 5000mah.
My charger han handle 6A 80W, but only 2A in storage mode.

The charger just automatically turn down the A when it's almost at storage V. Just like the end of a full ballange charging.
It will be a lot faster if I just ballange charge at 2.5A and turn it off manually. I just wasn't sure if the battery would be damage from beening stopped at "fully" charge A

So when using the ezpeak plus charger and storage mode, what amps should you set for 2 5000mah's?

Are they in series or parallel?
(Traxxas dual charge board or a ParaBoard)

The EZ Peak Plus has a max of 2A storage setting. This is because the charger will either charge or discharge the battery as needed and the max discharge current is 2A.

So if you planned on running and your boss pulls an 'Office Space' and you get stuck working Saturday and Sunday you can tell it to go to storage voltage and it'll bring the packs down from 4.2v to around 3.7-3.8v per cell.
