Are you still running plastic hollow balls?
Upgrading mine to steel helped tons...

Or did you mean the pillow balls in the knuckles?
That slop can be fixed a few ways... I suggest aluminum knuckles.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

7028x... and they are steel, not aluminum. I don't think aluminum would hold up all that well.

Or did you mean the knuckles?

In my observations, all of the following makes a decent knuckle... with many reported happy users:
    HR, GH, and GPM.

RPM are hit and miss... some report no issues while others say they popped pillow balls and the bearing hole ovaled over time.

I'd get the GPM out of those four, and some aluminum retainer caps along with them. The GH ones have plastic retainer screws that like to pop out unless you wrap them in teflon tape. I also like the RPMs too, I haven't really had any issues and I like the design of the retainer cap better than the others.

I have RPM knuckles, and am actually glad for the minor popping out factor. If I land my MERV awkwardly from a jump, I'd rather have a knuckle pop loose than to have an A-arm break. When the knuckle pops off the ball, I simply push it back on. For me, it serves as a failsafe. The RPM knuckles, like most aftermarket knuckles are adjustable. The stock knuckles are just too dang sloppy.

About those RPMs. Do you guys mean that the pivot balls pop out in crash, but stay in quite well even after that and several times? Steel ball through aluminum hole and no damage or difference?

RPM knuckles are not aluminum... they are plastic, so no steel balls are going through aluminum holes.
