    Lipo damage. HELP!

So I was driving down the street and turned too sharp. Took a nasty tumbl. Flipped her over didn't think much of it. Started driving around and noticed I couldn't turn left. So I took off the shell to find that my battery came out of the Velcro straps and was jammed up by the wheel.

Here's the damage. (Sorry for bad quality)

Looks like it shredded off some thin plastic and now there some kinda metal showing. It seems to only be scratched though. Do I need to worry or can I just wrap some tape around it and call it good?

    Is that a hardshell lipo?

You probably have a softshell Lipo and tore the tape off. That silver is the Lipo battery itself.

It's a soft shell. So do you think the battery is damaged?

If the silver material is not scraped up I would grab some gorilla tape and secure it real good. Then keep a close eye on it.

Can't tell. The photos are pretty grainy. Please inspect the pack carefully and take possible precautions when charging or using that pack.

My suggestion to you is to get ahold of Jason at Venom and explain your problem. You might get a new lipo out of the deal. It can't hurt to try.
