    Traxxas lipo charger

Yes i know a lot of responses will be to get a faster charger, but for now I'm good with the traxxas wall lipo charger (as long as it works correctly).

My question is I'm not sure if the charger or the battery is messing up. is there a way to figure out which one is messing up. Im charging a 2s spc 5000man and it seems to charge fine and when the one cell is fully charged the other stays red n will continue to do so the entire night if i let it. but if i unplug it and plug it back in, it stops charging and goes to a green light saying its fully charged.

Do you have another lipo charger to test?

nope - i was wondering if others had encountered the same thing with there wall charger. if not then most likely to me it'd be the battery then.

Does the battery act normally when you run it, and also try a friend's charger to see if it does the same thing.

Volt meter. Before blaming the battery, you MUST at least read the voltage after charge. I would hold off on using that charger again till you find out if its not doing its job. If the battery is bad, chances are the 5$ charger did it.

If the battery was not damaged by 1 cell being discharged too much, chances are pretty good. The battery has not swelled up has it?

no swelling - it just didn't look like it was going to stop charging the one cell the light didn't turn green unless u unplugged it then plug it back in - haven't run it yet - so it shouldn't have overly discharged

Sounds like you are ready to go as soon as you check that the cells are balanced with a voltmeter, or on your new chargers screen 8)
