    6s

Has anyone tried some spc 6s on a stock summit setup?
    Would it even work?

Can you even run a battery that big with out damage? And I'm pretty sure they won't fit in the battery trays anyway.

    The Summit's EVX-2 has a 4S limit.
SPC does not sell 6S packs.

    That's what I thought.

So how does the EVX-2 work? Does it run the batteries in series or parallel? And what does each mean?

Spc now sells 3s and 4s but apparently it wont work either way

You could do it with a different speed control, but 6s would cook the stock motor. If you needed a smoke machine in a pinch, that'd make a good one.

    6s

With the EVX-2, the batteries are wired in series internally. The BEC side should not be powered with battery packs having a greater cell count than 2S. Pre-LVD-enabled models would run 5S total but this was outside their specs and doing this would likely void the warranty.
