battery expansion kit for Slash 4x4???

So I just recently purchases a battery expansion hold down kit from tower hobbies that I thought would work for my slash platinum, turns out it was for a slash 2wd and not 4wd so it was a complete waste of money. I found this one on tower hobbies and it looks to be the correct one.

However it does not specifically say for slash 4x4 it just looks like it would fit. Has anyone else tried it for their slash 4x4? Thanks

I have not tried this but it does not look like the one made for the slash. It says its made for the rally.

    This should work.

nitro slasher, the one you linked will work for the LCG slash 4x4

bash'n'slash, the one you linked is for the ORIGINAL chassis

Ah sorry! I have the HCG so I'm used to looking for parts for that chassis. Thanks for correcting me.

i prefer the original battery strap as opposed to the LCG clip. i'd like to see an aftermarket vendor start carrying a front tie down block that clips the old way. it was just much cleaner, faster to access and reliable that the new clippy thingie.
