    Little question about LST diffs

    Hi,

I got a little question about the LST diffs. My stock diff is broken after 4 times driving on 4S. A friend of me is selling 2 LST diffs, and i would like to buy them. But would they fit in my E-Revo without any problems? This are the diffs:

    Thanks!

No they won't fit in your ERBE without any modifications - but BUY THEN ANYWAY!!!

The ERBE has diff issues and will continue to shred diffs unless you shim the diffs, detune the electrics to have less punch, use smaller tires, avoid jumping (especially landing with the throttle on) etc.

So installing the bigger beefier LST diff is a great upgrade - only problem is that it is quite a large process. There are a few great threads on doing the LST mod but I used Mitch316's thread & he was also very helpful.

The LST diffs are getting harder to find so BUY THOSE ONES OFF YOUR FRIEND!!

After 6 months of running my LST's I took them apart last week and they are still in perfect condition!

Definitely a great upgrade worth doing!

lst diff won't fit in the stock bulks, you need to dremel the bulks, also a bit on the chassis.. you will find lot of info here.

Sure can, this mod is mostly done by the people who want to run 6S all the time

    Nope - I only run 4S

I just like to bash and jump and be able to do it again tomorrow with having to replace a rear diff

Great mod but yes probably a necessity if you are planning 6S only.

I'm thinking of doing the mod myself for 4S and that way if I want to run 6S at any point I'm set to go

Do it! I am so happy with my ERBE since I did it! Beforehand I was going to sell it because I was furious at how often the diffs stripped.
Now I find myself thinking all the time "if I did that with stock diffs it would be clicking now" but with the LST diffs - no problems

The LST is a Losi nitro truck with a heavy duty diff that people mod their ERBE to make it accommodate an LST diff.
