I've always enjoyed running my E-Maxx and Stampede in the snow. I'm looking forward to getting some significant accumulation so that I can start playing in it with my R/Cs!

I enjoy the snow runs, it also cleans the truck at the same time. We only had a couple of days here, but looks like it's going to come back.

I used to run in the snow, it was always a blast.. Now I have a non waterproof system, so there goes that.

Any ideas how to waterproof a non waterproof system (castle)?

Don't know if yours has a fan, but you could always balloon it. Generally, the temperatures when its snowing are significantly colder compared when its not and you don't have your esc covered with a balloon so overheating isn't a huge issue.

Just had my P4de out in the snow a few hours ago!

The only fan I use is the built in one. There's no place to hook up the extra outer fan. And I don't need it anyways. I can try putting a balloon over it. Thanks!

Do you even have to ask? The full size Summit must be in the top 3 for snow driving! With the locking diffs and high/low transmission, it's impossible to stop! If you don't believe me, these pictures should help...

As far as a mini revo goes. I don't have to much of a problem as long as i am on top of hard packed snow. My merv has summit wheels, body on it, but it is a merv with a half dead steering servo, lol. .Last year video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogtmEam7NZk

I want a new 4x4 short course. Then ill get rid of the tekin rx8 and get a waterproof viper vtx8. After that it will be all fun. My mini slash doesn't handle snow too well.

One of my favorites with the full size Summit - huge mounds of snow plowed in parking lots. Sometimes very high with boulders and varying terrain make for climbing, jumping, etc. I find that the winter months bring out some of the best the Summit has to offer.

The only thing that annoys me when running in the snow is snow packing in the wheels. How do I prevent that?

This first snow we just got here isn't very much so my slash 4x4 just plows right through it all. When its a lot of snow, like over a foot i can only drive when its icy on top and hopefully I don't fall though. and i just drift on the packed snow on the road.

Some pics of the first snow this year.
