Motor Shaft Replacement 3.2mm to 5mm

Is it possible to swap the 3.2mm shaft for the 5mm shaft without any mods to the motor?

    Thanks for the help,
    Clay

Absolutely not. The rotor magnet is bonded to the shaft. However, you can look into a bore reducer if all you are looking to do is use 5mm bore pinions. If you are looking for a stronger shaft, the entire rotor needs to be replaced.
This is for the Castle Creations 1415 motor:

So I couldn't buy a 5mm Motor Repair Kit and use it instead of a 3.2mm Motor Repair Kit?

Yes you can, and I linked it, but your first post asked about the shaft, not the entire rotor.

Sometimes I don't ask clear questions. And never get driving directions from me. LOL.

    Thank you for the help,

Don't worry about it. Either way, we'll eventually get there.
