    Pull start 3.3

Just bought a slayer with the 2.5. The engine is getting weak so I was thinking about doing a 3.3 upgrade. Are the pull starts worth the extra money or is it a waste? Thanks

I like a pull start, simple and easy. But if your new to tuning, I wouldn't recommend it.

Why does pull start make a difference with tuning?

If you're not experienced at tuning the engine is likely to stall a lot and/or be difficult to start. It really has no direct impact on tuning. I've seen times when an engine is being difficult that people walk away with blisters from the pull starter. (Some sort of glove helps.)

Typically if an engine is well tuned and in decent shape it will fire after just a couple pulls.

If you get a new engine it will come with a pull start already on it also the slayer never had the 2.5 engine it came with the 3.3 engine stock from the start.
I wanted to put a really cool signature but I ran

From what I have seen the slayer did originally come with a 3.3. Somewhere in the past someone put the 2.5 in it.

That's unusual, most people want more power not less.

Stripped or melted the middle? Stripped you'll need to make sure the mesh is correct; if it is, take a look at the engine mount to see that it is not broken or the chassis under the engine is not bent. If melted, tighten the slipper up.
