    De anodizing alum

    Does any one know haw to take the anodizing off of a velenion motor with out damaging the motor?

    you can also try greased lightning, they sell it at family dollar

    Do i have to take the motor apart or just put it on a towel or what?

    Just put it in a towel, NaOH dissolves aluminum only, it has no effect on other metals

    So it wont hurt the bearings or magnet or shaft or wires?
