    Try unplugging the steering servo.

Also, are you sure you are using the parallel harness?
The only reason I ask is that this has happend before where the poster thought it was parallel and it actually was a series harness.

Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Its a parallel connector Jimmie. I'll try what u mentioned about the steering servo. If the car comes back alive with the servo unplugged what seems to b the problem? Thanks Jimmie!

The stock servos have been known to mess up everything, so if it comes back to life you need a new or possibly a different servo.
With great brushless comes great responsibility.

Blue Bird 390... 98%+ drop in.
HiTec 5085... needs different servo horn.
Corona something or other... someone else will chime in I'm sure.

The issue comes from the servo shorting back into the receiver. I've had this issue before with my 1/16th Slash brushless. I just replaced it with another stock servo, made sure to center it out and stopped tightening it down when it caught, instead of when it stopped, and I've been running it for around a year now with no issue. Just a head's up on what I've done with the stock parts. Haven't tried going after-market on it yet, if this servo fails I might experiment with that.

Where ever I can find them cheapest... including shipping.
What are you looking for? Most of the time a Google search of the part number brings up quite a few options.

I had my esc on lipo mode and plugged 2 Nimh in series and turned it on. Forgot to take it off lipo and it was flashing unplugged the batts and only plugged one in and turned it on and it worked fine . Set the esc to non lipo and plugged 2 back in series and worked fine.

The electronics are quite different, so the advice will be different.

The EVX2 is designed to run off from twin battery packs... because of the way it is wired, if you do not have twin packs or a jumper it will not run. That is probably your first issue.

Your second issue sounds like you are plugging in twin NiMH batteries in LiPo mode. Try following this video:
