I don't know if its the best for worry free steering (what ever that is ), but I installed a Savox SB2251SG Speed & Torque servo in mine. It's lighting fast, and has gobs of torque!

    Speed(@6.0V sec/60): .085
    Torque(@6.0V oz-in): 208
    Gear: Unique Steel
    Bearing: 2BB
    Case: Full Aluminum
    25 Tooth Spline

I also installed an Axial Aluminum Servo Horn

None that I have seen or felt. The deal came with a Racers Edge Glitch buster that I tried out and felt was not needed.

The horn is an Axial AX30836

savox they're power hungry servos so if you're not experiencing brownouts now then you're pretty lucky. test it out with the wheels off the ground at around 70% power and try to steer it from full L to R
