    GPS App for iPhone?

I have an iPhone 5 and I wanna see how fast my stampede goes. Any suggestions to GPS Apps? And any thoughts on how to mount my iPhone securely onto the rc so it doesn't fall off?

You might want to use an old GPS and keep your phone safe.

    GPS App for iPhone?

So I found a gps app and a box for my phone to put in. I don't have a old gps. I'm puting the box with my phone on the back of my pede. Hopefully tape will hold it😃

So I drove it on pavement and it hit 22.3mph. Kinda slow but that's stock gearing and a stock motor.

Not sure if apple has this app but I have been using Ulysse Speedometer on Android. Works great and actually just used it yesterday lol. Zip tied my S3 to the top on my batteries on my maxx

Yeah it's kind of slow but I don't break stuff so thats a good trade off guess. Plan to run brushless here soon so I'll be shooting for 40-45mph.

Yeah that would be a nice speed. But then you will probably break a few things.

Yeah I'm sure the risk goes up some but I don't really bash it too hard.

I use an app called: Speedometer.

It works ok, it will record all of the data you are looking for, just make sure your speed runs are done out in the open to allow for a good GPS signal.

I don't have a smart phone, but I taped a Garmin GPS to the hood of the body and went for it! It worked.

Myself I have been looking at a used garmin 101 runner instead of using the phone, just in case you have one of those odd accidents.

This is where old smart phone come in handy. I am getting ready to upgrade my phone, my current one, an iPhone 3 will be used for things like this.
