IPad Retina hookup to Traxxas transmitter possible???

I have one that I would like to hook up when I am on the test bench... it has a lightning charge port though... is there an extension cable I can use to go from the newer ipad to the transmitter??? I am buying an 8gb ipod touch 4th for out on the road, but would love to utilize my ipad when I am at home...

Do you want the ipad to rest on the transmitter?....if so this is a cheaper option. And if you need a longer cord, ebay will have something much cheaper

The transmitter has a 30 pin connector on it. SO you can connect older iphones/ipod/ipads to it. If you have an iDevice with a lighting port, then you need a adapter
