    carbon options for XO-1???

    anyone have any of them???

    xtreme chassis
    xtreme top brace
    carbon rear shock tower

    any other cool hopups I should grab???

    you probably should save your money for more practical things like a new lower plastic set, extra set of tires, and maybe an extra body......unless you go money to burn

    I do... Ordering an extra body, or two... Will look at tires and what part number plastic set???

    lucky man....there are like 6 different plastic pieces for the lower. If you go on ebay and search "xo-1 plastic set", people are selling the entire lower plastic part, and you can get that....for carbon fiber, go crazy on it but avoid the carbon fiber chassis. The stock aluminum chassis acts like a heatsink.......carbon fiber is much less conductive than aluminum.

    Doesn't seem like much carbon parts are available for this car... Just the three so far...

    The chassis looks worth it, and IMO I don't think believe the claims made by traxxas that the XO1's chassis serves a double purpose of also acting as a heat sink, any metal chassis car can take that claim. The motor never touches the chassis, but hey what do I know. I'd get the CF chassis if I was so afraid it would snap. Does the CF chassis have good flex to it? Or is it rigid as all get out?
