    New Motor

    Ok, the motor in my Traxxas Spartan failed I am wondering how long it took you guys to get your new motor back. I hate waiting. If it takes longer than 2 weeks to receive the new motor could you guys just suggest a new motor that will work with the stock esc. Thanks for any responses.

    It depends if Castle has them in stock or not. When my V1 motor blew, Castle had the new V2 motors in stock. I had a new motor in 8 (or 6 working) days from the day I sent mine in. I did however, send mine in Fed-x ground, and my motor got there in 3 days. I haven't had any issues with my new Castle V2 motor, and this is my second season with it.

    Castle does not handle the replacement of equipment used in Traxxas vehicles any longer. I would suggest you call the Traxxas support line and get an RMA set up. Our usual turnaround time right now is running between 3 and 5 business days.

    Non warranty replacement cost of a Spartan motor is $70.00 + $5.00 shipping.

    RMA = Return Merchandize Authorization.
