    Cool Axial Narrow Bead locks

They say good things come to those who wait...

Well Ive turned my nose up searching through sets of old narrow bead locks for a while until I found something worth buying....

I thought these things were a myth, they have been discontinued for a while now. I had never had the chance to see them for sale because Im somewhat new to RC.

Check out these BRAND NEW Axial Narrow Rockster Bead locks I scored today.

Of course I bought all 3 sets, got 2 packs of each kind, 12 wheels all together.

So now its decisions, decisions, decisions.... new rubber for the Summit and Revo?

    Drool....

Edit: by the way, the line-up is Black chrome, black and chrome.

What's the offset? I bought these with an offset for my Summit and it made it too wide for crawling. Wish I knew better back then. Great score for you tho!

These are the narrow, they dont rub on the a-arm like the over sized axial bead locks do.

They dont list an offset, but there is a little.

They will be great for my applications.

I meant wide as in the wheelbase because of the offset. Probably going to ebay mine. Attached to slingers.

Those look brand new! What tires are you going to mount? Are you going to use these for crawling or bashing? I still love my worn out/in Canyons on Geodes for crawling. I just need some new foam in one.

Wait a bit before you sell the slingers they need breaking in
They will soften up some once they relax a bit foam will also soften up.but I am on the same page as you. They are not my preferred choice for what I do.
I am so used to the narrowness with the tec 5's that the truck looks spidery with the axials and slingers on it

You guys got any pics with them on? Id love to see some more.

From what Ive seen they dont look to bad, not as bad as proline 1/2" offset wheels.

I like my tec 5`s right now too with the original trenchers.

But Ive wanted lightweight/plastic bead locks for a loooong time and this was the first time I had ever seen new sets for sale so I jumped on them.

Now If I can find come of those really sweet thicker bead lock disc`s ive seen.

Dude! You got all 3 pairs!
I saw those on the bay this morning and hesitated...can't believe you got all 3!
I should've just pulled the trigger!

I want bead lock wheels that don't weigh a ton as most metal ones do.

These plastic ones were the lighter/better choice for my driving style.

Yes I did... i couldn't hesitate. The guy must have dug them up out of his stock room in a closed/closing hobby store.

Thanks Jamann, Ya I can see a little offset. Looks worse on your rig because there's no body filling up the room.

But I think I`ll be happy with them, Only plastic real bead locks I could get anyway.

Pretty sure they are the 1/2 offsets. That's how mine looks.

Trenchers look nice n worn in. Kinda wish somebody on ebay was selling used. I think there may be a market for that. I can see myself retiring early to open a tire and motor breaking in company Not sure wifey will go for that tho...

Seems these have exploded on the forum lately.

Sure would be nice If a Traxxas made of beadlocks. There just aren't enough mfg`s out there doing them.

Someone should come up with some new sets forsale soon..... ;-)
