    New to nitro

Hey guys iv been considering the nitro slash. I have quite a few electric models and love them. I used to have a tmaxx 2.5r when i was a kid and had bad luck with it. I was too young for nitro i think. I never could keep the thing running for more than a tank of fuel. Anyway i was wanting to get another nitro and was wondering if anyone had any tips as far as keeping it running.

Break in process is critical. Follow the instructions. After that keep it clean and make sure you have a nice trail of blue smoke while you're running and you should be good to go. Tuning will be a continual process since nitro engines are sensitive to temp, humidity, altitude, etc.

Smoke is a must. If it ain't smoking it is too lean .

Once you understand lean and rich, and what to look for, tuning is relatively simple. Its not rocket surgery.
