Fix one thing, break something else

    Wheel, or wheels?

If it is just one wheel, it is either something stuck in the drive shaft, or a bad bearing on that side.

Both wheels, might be a bad bearing in the tranny.

Sometimes things just roll that was, it gets very frustrating, you usually work your way out of this cycle.

Yeah both wheels lock up. I hope it's not the tranny bearings, they aren't more than a week old.

Does it still go forward with out issue?
If so perhaps your neutral setting is off.

Yeah it rolls forward fine when I pull the trigger. Just when i let off it stops. I've checked the pinion/ spur mesh and it's good

I would reset your esc, and transmitter, it sounds like your Slash is hitting the brakes.

After this, I would back the motor off, and roll the drive train by hand. See if you can spin the back tires, there should be a little bit of resistance, but they should be smooth and coast for a few revolutions. Also, spin the motor, you should feel some cogging, but it should spin freely.

Well I finally got around to taking my slash apart and do some diagnosing. Come to find out not only did I strip the spur gear I also had a blown bearing in the motor. The bearing that let go is on the closed end of the can. What is the best way to get this thing out?

Yeah I have watched the video. It doesn't show how to remove a blown bearing though. The tire wrench doesn't work to remove the bearing now
