    Me too.

Still have a little clean-up here and there. Taping and waiting a week before shooting color isn't what I'd want to do next time. Thinner photo stock too. All and all, I'm pleased with the results. I still have a bunch of scale detail stuff I want to do. SCCA stickers in the windows for example. Other sponsor decals on the exterior. Maybe source out some "mirrors" for the doors.

Anyway, here are a few prior to the next phase of polish and touch-up.

Thanks! This is my fourth body, it's come out best by a mile, but I still have stuff to learn. I used to build lots of intricately detailed 1/12th - 1/43rd static models, and that's a lot more forgiving.

From five foot above it's flawless, with a macro, I can see the blems here and there. My biggest challenge is available time.

Next project is a Slash 4x4 with a proline 66 Ford F150 in turquoise and cream, a prezzie for Mrs. Cooper.

Thanks DP. This deltaplastik 934 body is a great starting point. It supports scale details well. Luckily, there's no shortage of resource images online to create the head, tail and marker light graphics. They have a couple of other 1/8 bodies that seem like they'd be great builds too. Their BMW M3 with a Warsteiner livery, and their first gen Audi Quattro are both good candidates.

BTW, deltaplastik just updated their US website... http://www.deltaplastikusa.com/

Probably not... It's set as low as possible to see how low it can go. For shelf queen display, that's fine, for a groomed asphalt track it might be okay too, but for real roads, not likely. The springs are uber stiff, so there is very little travel, and the ride height is as low as the e-revo shocks and springs will permit. So I still have two spots to tweak for height - spring driven ride height, and post dictated body height. The RCE chassis is sitting about 3/8-1/2" above the surface in the current config.

Can we get a video? I'd like to see how that suspension handles and all.

Sure thing. In the past I've set up three 1:1 cars for track use (944 turbo, 240z, pantera) with suspension that kinda resembles what I have going on with the TRCE, stiff, low, minimal travel, heavy sway bars and Goodyear eagle slicks... Really curious if that translates here.

Looks amazing bro! I did a very similar one about five months ago. Looks like your painting skill is superior to mine. Check it out.

Dgoll75, really glad you found this thread. Your Rothman's treatment was what inspired me. Thanks for that and for the compliment. Looking at your signature on Ultimate, it looks like you still have it!
