    Grease

How much grease do you guys put in your diffs. I don't mean the diff cup that contains the spider gears, but inside the diff itself. Do you really glob it up, or do you just coat the two gears?

You don't need a ton of grease in there. Just enough to coat the gears good.

Okay, thanks. I'll take some grease out. If you did glob the grease in there, would your motor run hot?

Unless you really packed it full I don't think it would make it run hot. I just put a bead around the ring gear kinda like toothpaste on a toothbrush. That's all you need.

More likely a little extra grease will just get cast off and out of the way.
