Question Tires are rubbing inside the fender wells

Just bought the traxxas Fiesta. First R/C I have owned in 12 years. My concern is I have noticed the tires are rubbing the inside of the fenders on the left side. So much so that there are places I can see through the paint. How can I fix this issue WITHOUT buying new parts?

you can put stiffer shock oil and maybe some sort of tape inside the wheel wells. Its bound to happen but you can atleast slow it down.

That's what I was thinking. Would that also tighten up the steering?

    Hi!,

Yes heavier shock oil will stiffen up the suspension.

You could raise the height of the body mounts one notch front and back, that will stop the rubbing, without buying extra parts.

I use aluminium tape on the inside of the wheel arches which means if there is rub it doesn't rub through the paint work.

    Enjoy!!...

+1 to putting some duct tape or aluminum tape inside the fenders. It's real hard to eliminate all rubbing without raising the body or stiffening the ride. Both of these take away from the fun.
