Or an EVX-2 with a Titan 775 shoehorned into the chassis and dual 2s LiPos strapped together. Just saying...

    Don't tempt me

I have a titan 21t so that's probably going in next

Titan 775 is interesting, maybe without the torque ring?

Looks sweet! Al of the 3D printed parts make it look so much more scale than it is stock. I don't think I've ever heard of printing out RC parts, it must be so nice being able to do that.
And we thought toy grade RC's where cool...

Got the Titan 21t installed. Titan 12t was really low on torque, kind of burned out.
I messed with the shocks too

New caps, shafts, and blue springs from the monsterjam truck.

I'm also trying out xx-l shocks on all four corners.

It sits crazy tall now, the monsterjam springs are kind of stiff. Not sure how it'll work out.

    Got new wheels (5884a)

Not sure what rubber to put on them though.

I want something that looks scale, the Traxxas BFGoodrich tires look good, not sure they're great though. Kind of looking at Pro-line Trenchers, why did they have to loose the sidewall detail on the X's. Are the X's That much better?

How is the 21t? I bought my son a Telluride for Christmas and already have a 21t that I'm going to install. Not even going to mess with the 12t. Is the 21t still fast enough to make it fun? I would imagine that the 21t is much better suited for what this truck is designed for.

My guess is that the ride height will make it tip over more, but it looks cool thats for sure!

Just took it for a quick spin, nice and torquey.
I also feel that the 21t is better suited for this truck. It is a little slower, really comes down to your definition of fun.
I'd rather have a truck that did all it could to torque up an obstacle than one that stalled out.

You could also try an Electrifly S-600. Is a 19t that has proven to hold up REALLY well… MUCH longer than the Titan and still maintains almost the same top speed but better torque.

    Trail Truck

Picked up some traxxas rubber for now.

Cut a lot off the stock foams to help with traction

I also picked up a set of axial tires

They are take offs from one of the newer scx10s I guess. The offset was large enough to clear the stock knuckles(not the stock hubs though).

I wanted to use an ET-3s for the drag brake, but apparently running brushed motors is another one of the things it won't do.

The Tellusumm got it's first real trail experience this weekend.

The local club was having a lighthearted G6 style trail run(I wasn't that confident). I ran the axial tires as a recommendation, had I know what laid down the trail I probably would have tried my new tires because they would have side hilled better. The axial tires did work well, the truck kept up with the rest. The 500k diffs worked well, I actually think it turned better than the locked axles. Three quarters of the way down the long trail the only battery I had died.

The only thing that broke was the front bumper mount.

In the spirit of scaleness they wanted to tow the dead rigs down the trail. I was hung up on one log and the scx10 pulling it needed to get a good yank to get it over. Obviously it didn't make it.

Have you done anything with the diffs to lessen slipping of the diff?

Traxxas 500k diff fluid, should have been in the truck from the start. 100k was still a little loose.

Doh, it was late and I was in a rush. Had the motor in the wrong two wires.
Works now, should be much better than the vxl-3s I used.

Standard Titan 21T, I couldn't ask for anything more than for it to be in the truck out of the box.

The Summit bumpers, I think the mini Summit bumpers would be too small.

The Titan 21T has been holding up well.

I have the new drive-train parts coming in, (TRA6778 &6779) should help with the low end grunt. I'm curious why they weren't installed in the first place.

Can you clarify where exactly this is? I'm looking at mine and all I see is the different mounting holes for the suspension arms and shocks. Also was the 21T a straight swap or were other parts needed to make it work? Thanks.

I gues dude thats what he mean. There are 2 holes there where you can adjust the hieght of your telluride.

And about the 21t motor it will fit directly with no other mods or extra parts

Hi, where did you get these 2 little blue loops for the Summit bumper??

So here it is with pro-line badlands, my favorite looking tire, on the standard offset RPM #82222

I also came up with an led "array" and some other parts for the summit bumper

    And Mirrors:

    That shouldn't break off

danielhr77: I remember reading through that awesome thread. I understand the skepticism and I'll work on solid evidence. These TQ radios don't seem to be "link" anymore, but I'm guessing they'll lock them at some point. Maybe they'll go back to yellow buttons, my vote is for blue though, it would look awesome on the LaTrax radio.

rag6: That's a lot of material to print solid, and a lot to ask out of the material. I'd also be curious to know how it turns out, holds up, what it's printed in/on.

No, much slower, but a lot more torque which is what I was looking for.
Maybe you could gear it up to get some speed back but then it may run hot like the 12t.

The 21t is designed for 14.4-16.8 volts. Get it on 14 NiMH cells or 4s lipo with a capable esc, and you'd have a powerful setup on hand I'd imagine . I've run one 21t on 4s with a mamba max esc in a big heavy revo 3.3 turned into an electric crawler with an e-maxx tranny. It was decently powerful in there all by itself on 4s.
