    Unhappy Roll Overs

Hey guys, I have a question for you. My stampede was rolling over when i would take sharp turns so i tried lowering my car and softening up the springs but it still rolls over. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be/how to fix it? Any information would be great, thanks!

Welcome to the forums! Softer springs will make it worse, not better. I would try stiffer springs, and thicker shock oil first. If all else fails, try some sway bars. Good luck!

    EDIT: Also see below.

EDIT: #2 Read this thread for info about the Pro Trac.

Sway bars! Part #6898 and some roll shims if you plan on using stock shock guards. Part #5529

Pro line protrac suspension kit will widen the stance making for more stability

It's Normal. Caused by high center of gravity. Most Monster Truck will do this. But, As mentioned above. There are somethings that can be done to reduce it.

My solution was to convert the Pede from a Monster Truck to a Truggy. Basically what made it more stable was putting smaller tires on it which lower the center of gravity.

I dont think I was anywhere near the first. I am pretty sure there were people who did this type of conversion before I even bought my P4de.

Update- so after reading some of the replies I put my stiff springs back on, I also when to the hobby store and bought a sway bar kit. This is how my set up has been for about the past 6 months and I only started having this problem a couple weeks ago. Still after the sway bars were installed I can't take a turn while under any sort of power at all.

Maybe your springs are to stiff, not allowing enough compression in turns. What weight oil do you use? Have you changed oil recently?

Even when I had softer springs in it still rolled. I'm using the standard oil that Traxxas gives out with new shocks and I haven't changed it recently.
