Have you tried soldering it back on?
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

I was about to say the same. The wire seems pretty good pre-tinned already - simply try to solder it back on.

I looks like the wire got caught and ripped between the fins of the heatsink and the body during a flip.
Maybe you can try to rotate the motor to a different positon avoid that sort of accidents?

I like your car! Sharp ride.

If you have an lhs near you let them have a look.
Judging from your pics i would guess it's a doable repair for anyone with some soldering experience.

no better time than the present to learn to solder. you can get decent equipment for cheap. it is a wise investment if you plan on spending any real time or money in the hobby grade rc world

Apart from fixing the connector, you can rotate the motor on the motor mount by 180 degrees to ease the strain on the cables, so they would come out closer to the ESC.

Above is a good advice from jimbo - it's not that hard to do

A 60 watt pencil tipped iron is less than $5 shipped:

Add some flux and solder and that is all the equipment an occasional solder job needs.
