It's funny you posted that, I was just about to post that they are too long, but can be turned in all the way. I don't think I'll be needing any negative camber anyway! I figured that they put the solid ones on for a reason, so I just set them at the same length.

I didn't bring any hardware with me, so I'll be installing them tomorrow.

Actually, we still have the standard camber adjustment using the various mounting holes, but I don't think any of them give you more negative camber. Maybe one does. Almost all of them give you positive camber. If you cut maybe 1mm off both ends of the rod, you could have a lot more adjustment range. The rears are going to be a tight fit though. I think the rear plastic camber links are the same length as the front pushrods on a mini Summit and you can get those in aluminum, but they aren't adjustable and only come in red.

I got the rest of the parts in yesterday, and got them installed today...
    [IMG][/IMG]

I didn't realize that the front & rear camber links were different sizes, the fronts I was able to tighten down all the way to match the plastic links length. The rears was a different story. I had to cut about 3.5mm off each end as they are 7mm shorter than the fronts.

I also dropped in a 12T pinion, that caused me to have to trim a little more off the driveshaft tunnel...

Then, it was time to work on the roof lights. I originally wanted to go with the 6-can rack, but it's longer than the roof is wide. I tried to figure out how E-Maxxdude mounted his, but I wanted to use the Pro Line parts. I ended up using the 4-can rack, which worked out nicely. Pro Line puts out a nice setup!
    [IMG][/IMG]
I had to trim a notch in the rear caps for the wires, then screw them on.
    [IMG][/IMG]
Then after mounting them in the rack, a little wire tidying...

The finishing touches will be to paint the Bead-Loc rings orange to match the body, and the 300K diff oil(paste!).

Put a thin bead of silicone around the front lenses on your PL lights. I flipped and lost two of them in the park yesterday. They don't stay in well if you have a rollover.

Thanks for the tip. I noticed that they were only snapped in. Also, I have some spare RPM lenses from their 4 Can setup that fit the TRAXXAS stock cans. I'll probably use that method to secure them too. Whatever you do, DON'T USE CA!!! It will cloud the lenses!

I'm going up camping in a couple of weeks, hopefully I can get someone to hike a trail with me to get some footage.
I just ordered some 300K & 500K diff oil to see how that works out, also I may drop a 2400Kv motor in to slow it down a little more.

Hello guys, today I got some time to dig out a little trench in my boy's track. I got him(he's 5) to take a short vid of the Telluride for me. I edited it to slo-mo so I could see the suspension action. Here it is...

That's running with the soft compound Pro Line Badlands. I'm going to try the soft compound Trenchers next.

Here's a shot with the Trencher X SC soft compound. I heard Jang make a reference to "scalloping" the foam for more tire compression & grip. Anyone know how to do that?

Nice pics!! I have never heard of "scalloping," how does it do on the slower stuff with the heavier wt diff fluid?

I would believe that 'scalloping' would mean slicing the foam to soften them up. Not so much as to cut the foam all the way through but maybe half way down.

Just do some triangle cuts in the foam so when yer done it looks like a big gear. It helps the tire compress a little better to have more contact with whatever rocks yer climbing over.

Thanks guys! I did some research on the subject and that's exactly what I found. With the soft compound Trencher x SC's, this foam mod should cause the tries to work well.

Ok, latest update, I got the Stampede arm & shock protectors. I only put the fronts on for now. I also did that tire foam mod so the tires can compress easier. What a difference! I changed the rear diff fluid to 300K. I'll have to give it a go tomorrow & see how she runs!
    Cheers! AB

Looks kinda weird, but the SC foam is very shallow, so I couldn't do deep "V" cuts. But it works!

Hey guys, I've been running my telly recently, both with 2S & 3S LiPo's, only to have my Castle MMP go into thermal mode regularly. This happens when going slow through rocky trails, or running fast doing jumps and such. I'm running 12/54 gearing with the Pro Line Trencher X SC's. I'm thinking about running a Muchmore micro fan on top of the ESC, as I really don't want to change the gearing. The 2800Kv 550 can motor doesn't even get warm. Any thoughts??
Also, I got my Pit Bull R/C crawling tires in, and I ordered some Pro Line "memory foam" for those tires, I'm looking forward to trying them out! Also, I really enjoy being able to drive in the dark with the lighting kit, makes for some great night time fun!
