Possible to manage throttle speed with multifunction

I'm running a slash 4x4 and my son loves to drive it but can't handle 100 %, he se training mode. But when I take over, I want full power with ought having to shut it down and do the preselect with the ESP.

Is it possible to control this through the multifunction knob?

Yup, it's the tqi, but I don't have the ios connection base thing. I looked through the manual and there's only throttle sub trim and throttle expo.

I tried it with my 1/16ths... no success.

Now I run a modified GT3B and can control features such as that from the remote. I can make my 65+MPH MT4 slow down to 10MPH with a press of a button... and anywhere in between.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

Which did you try, throttle Expo? Not really sure what that does anyway, but if I remember from my heli days that adjusts the amount of throttle given as you squeeze the trigger, but if you hit full throttle, you get full throttle.
