    Best Tires for Clay Track??

Im looking for the best tires for a loose clay track, I am looking at the Caliber 3.0 soft compound but it says they are for SC trucks, do they make a different one for Rustler Vxl's?

Barcodes generally work well on clay, but your best bet is to ask the track operators what the most popular tires is.

For damp clay I like using Panther Switch's in clay compound with the Grey firm foams.

If the track is outdoor clay and not wet just swept I use Raptor rears with v-ribs up front.

You may want to ask around and see what everybody is using.

the only real answer is to go there and ask the regular's. we could sit here for hours listing tires and id bet we were wrong 99% of the time.

for the rustler, you can run sc tires/wheels but traditionally stadium trucks run 2.2 st wheels and tires. you want wheels made for the electric rustler with correct offset (it should say in product description)

jconcepts makes several tires that were developed at tracks in florida so that would be the brand id look at first.

On dry loose clay, pink hot bodies megabites are the preferred tires at my outdoor track for st tires, but as srt 121 states, the fast guys at YOUR track will be able to answer the question best.
Wanna bash at Greenwood Bashplex in Pittsburgh ???
