    Bubbles in the fuel line

Are bubbles in the fuel line normal and if not could they be causing my engine to go crazy lean?

Ya, bubbles would cause a lean condition. Air bubbles in the fuel line means you have air leak somewhere. I'd check for holes in the fuel line, cracks in the fuel tank, or a bad fuel tank lid seal. Good luck, hope this helps!

Thanks so much and ya the seal on the lid of the tank is only half there. I wonder where the other half went

Ya, I wonder too. I lost half of mine also, so I have spares laying around now.
