    E revo speed with brushed motors and lipo

    What is the top speed with an e revo brushed edition running TWO 2S lipo batteries at 5000 mah?

    It depends on how you gear it, also I am guessing you are running in parallel so my guess is about 30 mph.

    I thought the e revo goes 30 mph out of the box with the two stock nimh batteries...

    2s is actually a little less voltage than a 7 cell NiMH. Way back when I got my first emaxx around 10 years ago the evx could run 16.8v. Does that mean it could safely run 4s?

    I have seen arguments either way. The #3014 EVX was rated for 12 cells, or a nominal 14.4V. Maximum voltage of 12 cells is more like 16.8V.

    @revoman78: No, he'd be running 2S packs in series.

    Mine was a first gen evx. I remember after it came out traxxas came out to say after much testing the evx was safe for 14 cells instead of just 12.

    I wish I still had that truck...I'd try it!

    i have 3 brushed erevos using the evx2 and i always use 2 2s batteries and have had no problems
