    Looks great!

What rims are they, and do they clear the body? They look cool, but a tight fit!!

Thanks! It is a Proto Form Tornado RallyCross race body, http://racepf.com/mini-micro/tornado...ss-clear-body/
These rims are Reely european rims. I got them here in Germany at a place called Conrad.

The the fix was a bit tight at first but after I grabbed my dermal tool and did cut sanding it fixes much better. I also grabbed four bars vice my stocks and spring for the suspension. It lowered and has zero drop now. I will be posting some more pics of the setup soon for sure.

    Sure dcfox.

This is the setup with the upgrades to the suspension w/ zero drop. I completely removed the original springs/shocks setup:

    Which motor is that?
Your title said Mamba Monster(which is a 1/8 scale setup)...but the esc is a Mamba Max Pro...and it looks like a 1/10 motor.

    My KB Rally has a Sidewinder S2 and a 5700KV 1/10 motor.

getting a rally from a buddy with a Sidewinder S3 and a 4600KV 1/10 motor, going to be my first 1/16 car. had a slash 4x4 and currently have an e-maxx mamba. my question is what is the power difference between the 4600kv and 5700k motor?

4600kv will have a little more low end torque than the 5700kv.
the 5700kv will have a little more top end(higher rpm's).

Nice setup dcfox. I am starting to get into some drift tire as well. I love the 1/16 E-Revo but I wish that I bought the rally from the beginning.

Yeah. I have a hard time finding a big open area to pull that throttle all the way open on the 5700kv.

63mph is the fastest I've been able to get it before I ran out of room.

Wow that's some good stuff right there dcfox. I was planning on tracking my speed today sometime. I have some tuning to do prior to speed testing it today. I'll let you know what comes about. I doubt that it will even come close to 60 mph.

Oh yeah, I just pulled up a old pic of my now rally E-Revo setup. This is it when I got into lowering the body for speed runs:

If you can keep it cool enough, and can keep it on the ground...with the right gearing you would probably see higher speeds with the larger tires(like on the Revo) than with the small ones.

My goal is 75mph with the Rally setup...then it's probably going back to a stock Velineon 380 setup...because it's just more fun to play with when running that motor/esc.

This Castle system will probably end up in one of our Rustlers.

Yeah, I will try your advice for sure. I will like to see how much I can push out of this rally setup myself. I plan on grabbing some bigger sized gears once I make this first big run.

I did feel a little bad ripping out the Velineon motor setup. I still have it though.

My rustler is sitting on the stand waiting for some parts replacements. I'll see what I come up with next. I might drop it as well.

Both of our rustlers are 100% RTR right now.
In fact...the only one of my RC's that isn't ready to go is my Merv...need an esc for it.

Rad, they are like small fully adjustable push rods which you find on the arms of our rc's. I am very fortunate have a rc passion and to be stationed in Germany. I visit a place called Corad, http://www.conrad.de now and then and they have all kind of little items I dont normally see in the states...Love their choices in wheels as well. I will see if their have a particular name for them when I visit the store again. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks GTR! I thought they kinda looked like bigger servo arms or something like that. I bet they are cheaper then a sway bar set.

But dont you have aboslutely zero suspension travel now?
I guess that will be ok...as long as the surface you are running on is absolutely smooth.

Rad, I believe they were 10.00 EURO, so about 13.00 USD for a pair. They should have something like them in the states, no?

dcfox, yeah mann, zero drop for sure. it is like those cars with real stiff coil overs. I can punch it was hard as I want in a turn with the rubber wheel and it won't even tilt a little. It is fun to drive and not having to flip it over when I cut it hard.

The plastic push rods should flex enough when you turn hard to give you just the amount of travel you need. I'm going to use the hardest mini summit sprigs n 60wt. But now that I've seen this I might just figure out a way to make those push rods softer.

Yeah, I say be creative with your mods and don't limit yourself to just the items listed for your ride. I am always looking for a way to mod my car. The mount that holds the ESC for this ride is a piece that I cut from my whey protein bottle lol.

Got her almost scraping the floor. She have some battle scars from the first run with new wheels and body. Had to do some more cutting to make room for hard turns, duh:

With rear underbody spoiler. I added another idea by doing some cutting and shaving of an old part:
