Strapped on my brand new spc 8200 lipos and went for the first snow crawl of the year... Great day!

I'm running a dewalt motor and super happy with that. This is my first run in the snow with the crushers and they seemed to work better than my slingers. Better sidehill grip on the slick stuff every time.

A Relative found some light covers and light bar lenses in his axial box! SCORE!

    [IMG][/IMG]

In this one (of course!! ) the yellow one fell out a bit without me noticing...till it was too late. They do fit Exactly! with little tabs on the inside to dab some glue for a clean finish (also not done yet due to needing more so I can go yellow OR white??). The black ones fit not exact but well with glue, 12hrs. and a rubber band. they look exact.

I was out bashing my Summit in the snow and I misjudged where a light pole was... Needless to say the impact ripped the threads out of the camber link! I had I good laugh, I'm just glad it wasn't worse!

Changed and rebuilt the bearings in the knuckles and flipped the axles so the boots are up by the diffs. Not much driving when its -8 out.

While we were trail running the other day/night the front diff went on me. I locked the front up and it got me through.

Drive it at full speed into metal star picket and broke the front right bottom A-Arm. Had the go pro on top so I got it on film but watching it it looks like I drove it into it on purpose - whoops!

Sorry for the double post i tried to edit my last post but would not let me for some reason.

Anyway I made some chains today and what a difference from the earlier ride. It was a blast the summit pulled her with ease. It was like nothing was attached to back.

I just made my a bunch of custom parts and made an awesome suspension link and I just put on proline powerstrokes rear shocks and springs all the way around my summit with team associated 20 weight oil in them cant wait to get my new proline badlands 3.8. Scored big with wheels and tires, paid 60 bucks for all 4.

Completely the opposite of this. ^ Since the snow is all melted, I put on my HPI Phaltline street tires, lowered the suspension, put on my street body, and did some street bashing. Sacrilege with a Summit, I know, but lots of fun.

That cyclone/mudslinger combo is unreal. I am officially jealous.

The TopKick body didn't fair so well on the last trail run, so I dug out a older body that I've only run once and added some lights above the windsheild, both blue and white, but wired separately so I can switch it out whenever I feel.

I Hope this picture works. I also had an issue with the 2 speed transmission, it was stuck between both gears so it would not move at all. At first I thought I finally went through my first Xmission after 2 years.

Installed some alum skids front and rear. Took a bit of the movement out of the chassis.

    Got it snowy!

Got it out in the snow for the first time. have my 5700mah 35c lipos plastidipped to keep them from taking on water. it was fun! about 6-7 inches has fallen so far today with expected totals of over a foot. got 35 minutes of mostly high gear heavy throttle before hitting low voltage 50% throttle cut. not bad. charging up the lipos now so i can take it back out again later.

I did some fitting of some new motors. Just trying to see what I like, and is practical. I might just stay with the 775 or do another dwealt. I fitted the cc 1717, 1515,1512, and a few other brushed motors. Below is a pic of the 1717
