Thanks guys. The tires are no longer made. They are proline dirt paws. I buy every set I run across. They are 2.2. Hard compound. I have them on all my rigs. This one is just my favorite. Still running the vxl system, but have a castle sct combo on standby. It is a beast in the turns.

Took it out to local track today. Test and tune. 0 rollovers, only spinouts. Not one rollover. First time that has ever happened. Very happy with results.

Wow. That's all I can say. Everybody was joking about my ugly duckling, until the flag dropped. That baby drove like she was on a rail. Hanging turns, making jumps, whooping competition. Laugh now, cry later.

That does look pretty special lol, it looks nothing like a p4de anymore! I'm so used to seeing the body so high (and chassis) and the wheels not being super blocky (talons) so, I'd say it's pretty special!

I cut the inside of the bed out. Pulled all body mounts off, put Velcro on chassis and body. Makes life easier to remove/install battery. Plus lets motor breath

No. All factory arms. Used rustler front shocks, changed baffle plates in them and use thicker oil. Deep dish wheels is the only non traxxas part.

Yeah get the most out of your vxl system mine lasted about 14 months of pain and loved it until it went into melt down and your new system is a torque monster that can be run on2s and 3s with the right gearing........peace

What about Traxxas 1870 Terra Spiked tires? I think they may be hard compound also, requiring no foams. Anyone use those?

They are too tall for my likings. 4 7/8" is a little tall for me. I like the 4.5 and shorter.
