    xo-1 bodies

Stumbled upon this a little bit ago. killerbodyrc.com they make 2 different bodies for the xo-1. One is a corvette and the other is a Alfa Romeo 8c. Didnt see any prices but at least there is some bodies out there. Hopefully they will make some different ones in the near future.

I talked to them and they said they are only available through a hobby vendor as of right now. The proces are right around 100 dollars for a painted body so i can assume the clear bodies will be a little cheaper. Bodies should be available sometime in August.

A couple threads down, with loads of information:

Also, last I spoke with them, the product was delayed until late September.

They will have the bodies in several different versions. The most expensive is prepainted and decals already on. Light buckets and everything preinstalled I believe. The clear bodies should be in the $60 range.

Their temp webpage has a pic of the alfa up in the scroll. Wonder if they can make me one with machine guns that pop out of the headlights.

They sent me their msrp price list for all of their bodies if anyone wants to know any pricing. Just let me know what body and I'll post what it shows for it. I doubt they are set in stone but it gives a good idea of what they'll be. Not sure what companies will be selling these but hopefully tower hobbies will and we can get some good discounts with the super saver club.

I only see the clear body with all of the accessories. Part #48091. They show it at $57.02 msrp. I wonder what the hobby shops and online stores will be able to sell them for. Usually msrp is a little higher than what they actually sell for. I guess we'll see.

Thank you. I saw body only on their page so might just need to update pricing list. Doubt much room to go down from msrp given add ons. A bit worried as no tail on the one pictured. Need that downforce with the car.

Glad to see these new bodies are out. Abandoning all aerodynamic considerations, I would like an early 2nd gen Trans Am circa 70'-73'.

I received another reply from Sun Trade (the US distributor) stating that the boat leaves 9/25...and to expect the product around the end of October. I'm beginning to think these products are vaporware, month long delay after month long delay.

I don't mind the Corvette, however I sure would love to see a McLaren P1 or some other swoopy body GTP Race car, oh like a Audi R18

ohh well it wasn't popping up for me on ebay because it doesn't specifically say "xo-1" in the description.
