    Question Street tire for Rally

I'm looking for street tires and wheels, premounted, if possible same diameter as the Rally BFG 103mm (x43mm).

    Anaconda 100x48-50mm

    3773 electric rear
    or
    3776A nitro rear, electric front

Which is the best fit for the Rally body (given the slightly wider tire)?

    Duratrax Bandito 101x41mm

    DTXC3702 SC10 4X4
    DTXC3703 SCTE 4X4

    How will they fit?

    Slash 4x4 Platinum x2
    Stampede 4x4 VXL

I've heard a lot from slash 4x4 owner running bandito are great for speed run, but I cant confirm how they fit with the rally body on though.

Personally I've had really good luck with the factory tires. I have mine set up with a Mamba Monster / 2200KV system running 25 / 50 gearing with 6s and have no complaints. At really high speed they balloon a little, but almost everything except XO-1 tires do at that kind of speed. Have not gotten a radar reading on it yet but I'm guessing around 70 or 80 before it goes airborne

Yeah, I have read that the Bandito have good grip.

Yes, the BFG Rally tires are fun, but won't last long on asphalt, I think. They wear down rather quickly...

I'm digging the xo-1 tires on my rally, they are a tad large but look and perform great.
I was actually playing with it on the grass yesterday during breaks shooting a new Doritos commercial.
It ran incredibly well on the grass, I was surprised.

Honestly I would go with 1/8th scale buggy Banditos and throw on some 17mm hexes.

Right now I run the 2400 castle system on 3s and 4s with a set of SupraSales SCT slick's. They are great. The grip isgreat but you can still over power the tire's and drift/slide the car. For $20.00 shipped to your door can't beat it.

The closest fit you can get and still maintain proper width is a set of 1/8 GT tires and wheels with 17mm adapters. You can buy premounts from sweep racing or, if you want to do high speed runs, GRP are a great choice... they are belted.

    Thanks for input.

    I'm thinking Duratrax Bandito DTXC3797

    Glued on TRA7472X

    Wouldn't that be nice...?

^^ They are Kyosho GT2's. The Sweep racing tires fit TERRIBLE on them.

I'm running STRC 17mm adapters with Thunder Tiger 1/8 buggy wheels and Duratrax Banditos. They work great.
