    Springs suggestion

What does everyone recommend for firmer springs? This is to prevent bottoming out jumping at skateboard parks?

I would be interested too know as well. Are there any springs from other companies such as Associated or Losi that will work, if so how do you know which ones? What is the weight on the stock springs?

In reply to Silver5: You could use thicker oil. That will help with bottoming out. Increasing spring weight without increasing oil weight could cause it to bounce to much. You may need to use both heavier springs and thicker oil. I don't have a lot of experience with skate park type stuff so someone else may be able to give a better opinion along with specifics on setups you could run.

Jumping at the skate park will bottom out the truck no matter the springs used.

That being said, a heavier rate will help take some of the slap out of the landing, get some RPM wear plates to go over the stock skids.

The stiffest springs I know of are the Copper AE MGT springs, they have 4 different rate springs & they are drop in replacement for the maxx.

The Integy spring kit(only product of theirs I recommend) is a good choice too.
