    Why no 1/16 rally love?

I found a decent deal on a rally vxl system and I wanted to read through the pros/cons of the rally, and to my surprise, there isn't very much going on on this site.

Whats the deal? Is it a fairly new product? No one buys them? If not then why?

Not a new product... it is just the Revo is the more popular (and capable) RC in this platform. The size of the Rally limits it to pavement and smoothish dirt.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

I make my rally versatile by using a Camaro body in the summer. Then i change the front skid plate, body post mount, wheels, body to a slash for the winter. I dont mess with any slash bumpers.

I have a blacktop driveway, and i do get more use out of my rally/camaro.

The only real problem i have with the rally is tire selection that wont cause it to roll on corners. Stock slicks are my best choise.

I think for being how small it is, it just cant tackle the grass. its best to run on pavement. 1/10 rally do better job on going thru obstacles and all.

I have to try something different, these stock tires are just to slippery, foams are probably going to be to much grip lol

i have hpi x patterns on my rally.... and a cheap china wheel and tire set on my street slash. Ive never used stocks so im not sure how to compare them. Im happy with both of my setups though.

I love my x patterns and for grip I run the Jaco foams.

The 1/16 rally was really meant to be more of a drift style street car. "rally" wasnt an entirely appropriate name for it IMO. Its super low and has street tread tires. They are a blast on pavement but not so much fun in the dirt (maybe "not fun" is wrong, just not capable or durable in the dirt)
